Every Soul Project runs over the course of one month, aspiring to help a member of an underprivileged Balinese community to overcome a specific challenge. Committed to be fully transparent on how the funds are spent, Volunteer Programs Forever will produce a video of the impact and share it across the organisation’s social media platforms. Soul Projects are a fantastic way for volunteers to give back to the Balinese community. Targeting an individual or family, these more significant fundraisers are designed to grant immediate relief for the person to overcome a specific challenge.
Aimed to inspire and honour a beloved one, Soul Projects are initiated by individual volunteers committed to running the fundraiser for one month to reach the best possible goal.
Fuelled by Soul Projects, Volunteer Programs Forever has already been able to organise homeschooling for selected children, health workshops and deliver food packages throughout the pandemic. Thanks to the countless support of the global Forever Network, Soul Projects now range from scholarships, medical care, and construction projects where we offer short-term employment to builders and other skilled members of the community.

They contribute to the whole community instead of just an individual member.
Soul Projects are the stepping stone towards a sustainable future for the whole community. They do not only benefit the targeted person or family, carefully chosen in collaboration with the community leader but can support several community members by buying local supplies and or offering short-term employment until the completion of a construction project.
Once the Soul Project is completed, Volunteer Programs Forever will keep in contact with the family to continue offering support and guidance towards education programmes and or job employment.
Soul Projects are always tailored to the specific challenge and implemented, respecting the local culture and values.

It takes a community to achieve a Soul Project.
A Soul Project is designed in full collaboration with the local community leader to find the best possible solution to the problem. The implementation often impacts the local economy by purchasing from regional suppliers, buying local materials and or employing community members as construction workers or craftspersons.
It takes time to make a difference.
Soul Projects are usually set up by a volunteer who already has a strong connection with Bali and wants to be more involved in the difference such fundraisers bring to the local communities. Soul Projects request quite a commitment, as they need preparation time with the team of Volunteer Programs Forever before the fundraiser starts actively running for one month, asking the volunteer to promote the project on their personal social media channels regularly. Once a Soul Project is completed, the organisation will provide full transparency on how the funds were spent and create a video to share the impact online.

Supporting a local community through Soul Projects is only possible through the donations we receive and the support of the many individuals who create a general fundraiser through the Forever Platform or set up a Soul Project. Without these generous contributions, Volunteer Programs Forever could not continue empowering underprivileged Balinese communities towards sustainable change.

All single donations and contributions through regular fundraisers made through the website will be used for an immediate Soul Project.
